How to collect data from several pages into one spreadsheet
Open the first page of the list, click the NeatCells icon, then Collect next pages. NeatCells opens each next page in turn, waits 3 seconds between pages, adds the new rows to the same table and stops at the last page. Then download one Excel file.
How lists continue
- Next links and page numbers: each page has its own address.
- In-page "Next": the list is replaced without the address changing.
- "Load more" buttons: each click adds items below the others.
- Infinite scroll: items appear as you scroll; see the scrolling guide.
NeatCells recognises the first three and handles each the right way.
Step by step
- Open the first page of the list and click the NeatCells icon.
- Check the columns on the first page; they are the same for every page.
- Click Collect next pages. The first time, a short note reminds you that some websites' terms limit automated collection.
- Watch the progress: "Page 3 of up to 50 done · next in 3 s". Rows already in the table are skipped, so repeated items do not double up.
- When it says "That was the last page", click Download Excel.
Limits that keep it polite
- Free collects up to 5 pages per table; Pro collects 50 pages per run by default, up to 500.
- The wait between pages is 3 seconds by default; choose 2 to 10 seconds in Settings. Slow pages make it wait longer.
- It stops at once at a CAPTCHA, a sign-in page or a "too many requests" answer, keeps the rows so far, and never tries to get around the block.
- A run stops after 30 minutes; click Collect next pages again to carry on.
Doing it by hand
Without a tool, copy each page into the same sheet one under the other, then remove the repeated header rows and duplicates. In Excel, Power Query can also load a list of page addresses with a page number in them, but it only works on pages that build their tables without JavaScript and need no login.
Questions
Why did it stop before the last page?
The panel says why: the plan's page limit, the site asking for a CAPTCHA or a sign-in, the next page not loading in 30 seconds, or the next page showing a different list.
Chrome asks for permission to read a site. Why?
Chrome lets NeatCells read a page only after you click its icon there. When a next page is one Chrome won't let it read, such as a page on another site, NeatCells asks you once for that site: click Allow and continue. It never asks in the background.
Can I run the same multi-page export every week?
Save a recipe after a run: it remembers the columns and to collect next pages, and "Use recipe" repeats it in one click.
