Terms of use
These terms are an agreement between you and meggi_dev ("we", "us"), who makes NeatCells. By installing or using the NeatCells browser extension or this website, you accept them. Please also read the privacy policy.
1. What NeatCells is
NeatCells is a browser extension that turns lists and tables on the webpages you view into spreadsheet files. It has a free version and a paid version, NeatCells Pro.
2. Using NeatCells
- You may use NeatCells for personal and business purposes.
- You are responsible for how you use it and for the data you collect. Follow the law, including privacy and copyright law, and the terms of the websites you visit. Data about people, such as names and contact details, is protected by privacy laws in many countries.
- Do not use NeatCells to get around logins, paywalls, CAPTCHAs, rate limits or other technical measures, to overload a website, or to send spam. NeatCells itself stops at CAPTCHAs and sign-in pages, waits between pages and limits the size of each run.
- Do not copy, resell or change the extension's code, and do not share or resell license keys.
3. Your data
The data you collect with NeatCells is yours. We do not receive it; the privacy policy explains what little does leave your computer.
4. NeatCells Pro
- NeatCells Pro is sold through Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record: Dodo sells you the license, takes the payment and handles sales taxes. Dodo's terms also apply to the purchase.
- Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time with the link in your receipt email, or by writing to us. Pro then stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- A founder lifetime license gives you every Pro feature of the extension, including the extension's future updates, for as long as we offer NeatCells. It does not include paid online services we may add later.
- A license key is for your own use, on the number of computers stated with your purchase.
- Every payment can be refunded within 14 days, as the refund policy explains.
- Prices may change. A change never affects a period you have already paid for, and subscribers are told before a renewal at a new price.
5. Changes and availability
We may update NeatCells, change or remove features, or stop offering it. Websites change too, so NeatCells may not work on every page. If we stop offering NeatCells Pro, we will tell Pro customers at least 30 days in advance.
6. No warranty
NeatCells is provided "as is". We work to make it accurate, but we do not promise that it is free of errors, finds every item on a page, or that exported data is complete or correct. Check data that matters before you rely on it.
7. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us for NeatCells in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer.
8. Ending
You can stop using NeatCells at any time by removing it from your browser. We may end a license that is used in serious breach of these terms, for example a key shared or resold.
9. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts of India, unless the law of the country you live in gives you, as a consumer, the right to rely on its laws or courts.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The new version is posted here with a new date, and applies once you keep using NeatCells after the change. Pro customers are told about important changes by email.
